Using Image Metaphor Cards to Tap the Depth of Type
Presented by Cindy Stengel Paris, Founder and CEO of The People Skills Group
Date: Saturday, September 19, 2015
As Type practitioners, how can we present basic Type concepts, help people self- select their Type, sort for “Best-Fit” Type, add application, and teach the Dominant Function in an Introductory feedback session? It seems an impossible feat! However, it is only by incorporating all of these the component parts into the Introductory Session that participants gain the richness that Type has to offer – it is how we help make Type stick.
Using these Image cards, practitioners can quickly and efficiently find their Best-Fit, understand their Dominant Function and walk away with a desktop tool that they can call on to remember and revisit for continual learning and development. The images and corresponding metaphors speak to people without words, so there is no longer the need to explain the very complicated notion of how the functions interact to create the Dominant and the hierarchy of Functions.
Join us at this two-hour event to gain an understanding of how to use the Card sets, together with the guides and training room posters, to present the depth of type in a fun and easily accessible way; and be prepared for freebies and discounted products just for attending!
