Program Description:
At The People Skills Group, our objective is to make Jungian Psychological Type relevant and memorable in an age where the MBTI Instrument and Jung’s theory have become victims of their own success. The number of superficial interpretations and imposter internet assessments continue to grow in this era of instant information, decreasing the efficacy of and ability for, Jungian Type to make a real difference in peoples’ lives.
These issues, coupled with the shrinking time frames for corporate workshops, create quite a dilemma for us as Type practitioners: How can we present Type concepts, help people select “Best-Fit” Type, add application, and teach the Dominant Function in one session? It seems an impossible feat, but it is only by incorporating all of these the component parts into an Introductory Session that Type sticks. Using these Image cards, practitioners can quickly and efficiently find their Best-Fit, understand their Dominant Function and walk away with a desktop tool that they can call on to remember and revisit what their type really means. The images and corresponding metaphor speak to people without words, so there is no longer the need to explain the very complicated notion of how the functions interact to create the Dominant.
Come join me on September 19, 2015 to find out how to use the cards in an Introductory Session and beyond through Type Development. Start to make a difference in your MBTI workshops or one-one feedback sessions by providing tools that help make Type stick.
